A match made in heaven! Some of the best summer has to offer, blackberries and peaches together. For a mid-afternoon snack, I put together this lovely treat: toasted brioche bread, fresh whipped cream, perfect local peaches and fresh-from-the-farm, boysenberries. Very much like blackberries, but a little paler and more tart. Delicious!
At the restaurant right now, we are serving peach bread pudding with blackberry sauce. Another beautiful combination! Layering brioche bread with a custard and thin cut peaches, the dish is baked in a water bath until set and then topped with a blackberry drizzle and a chiffonade of lemon basil before serving. Spectacular!
What’s your favorite blackberry-peach combination?

Smoothie is my favorite way to combine blackberries and peaches, because I can do it all year round with a freezer full. the peaches are so creamy and the bblackberries provide the zip.
I love making a wild blackberry and Washington peach pie around Fair time each year- remember the year I combined semi-sweet chocolate bits in the blackberry pie we took to the lake?
Like the picture. Thank you for the post.
yes, I remember! It was delicious!
Hmmm…Although I’m certain I’ve never actually tried it or seen it, I think I would like blackberry-peach cobbler.
Your dish looks splendid!
